Jeremy Guthrie is a right-handed starting pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles. On January 19, 2007, Guthrie was designated for assignment by the Cleveland Indians and was picked up by the Baltimore Orioles. During the 2007 season, he became one of the best and most consistent pitchers in the American League, through June 21, ranking 2nd in ERA and allowing more than 2 earned runs in just 1 out of 10 starts. After being called up to fill a spot in the Baltimore Orioles' bullpen and then moving into the starting rotation, Guthrie enjoyed a breakout year in 2007.
